"The sixth issue of d-act magazine is made as a brochure of the exhibition that will take place in 3016 at Seoul National Museum of History honoring the 1000th anniversary of the publication of “Kim Ji-Young born 1982”.

Archaeology is a study of understanding the past through designed things. I wanted to make a critique on patriarchy in current Korean society by borrowing the perspective of an archaeologist from the far future. And “Kim Ji-Young born 1982” was an artifact for that archaeological view coming across my mind. It is a feminist novel that depicted how sexist Korean society was in 2016. I speculated a story around the iconic novel and contextualized into an exhibition."
